Open Position as Assistant Editor of Le foucaldien

The peer-reviewed open access journal Le foucaldien, to be published by the Open Library of Humanities (OLH) from summer 2017, is hiring an assistant editor mainly responsible for English and French proofreading and social media communication. We offer a unique chance to assist launching and establishing Le foucaldien, which is a spin-off from the G+C Blog and part of the internationally recognized OLH network, a not-for-profit charity. For further information on the journal and the publisher, please see the press release: "OLH to publish multi-lingual journal on Foucauldian research".

We expect the assistant editor to have a MA degree in a humanities discipline, to be familiar with the work of Michel Foucault, to be fluent in English and/or French writing, and to have experience in social media communication (Facebook, Twitter, blogging). As we are working and collaborating digitally, your region of residence will not matter at all. Please be ready to contribute with three to five hours of duty per week, but note that this is an unpaid position for the time being, because Le foucaldien is operating on a non-profit basis with intrinsic scholarly motivation.

If you are interested in joining our highly motivated editorial team at Le foucaldien, please send an application to editors@foucaldien.net until May 31, 2017, and make sure to include a CV with information on your interests of research, former and current working experience, publications (if you have some), university affiliation, and academic degrees.
